Welcome to Homebaked! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Homebaked mobile app and website ("Platform") as a buyer of goods. By using Homebaked, you agree to these Terms — please read them carefully.
Homebaked is a marketplace that connects local bakers with people who want to buy homemade baked goods. We don't bake the goods ourselves, and we don't supervise or control the bakers. We just give them a platform to share their creations.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By using Homebaked, you confirm that:
When you place an order, you're entering into a direct agreement with the baker. Bakers are responsible for:
Once your order is confirmed, changes or cancellations are at the discretion of the baker.
Homebaked does not inspect or certify kitchens. Bakers are responsible for following local laws and regulations — including cottage food laws, health permits, and food labeling requirements.
By using Homebaked, you acknowledge:
All payments are processed securely through our third-party provider (Stripe).
We do not store your full payment information.
If something goes wrong (e.g., you never receive your item, or it's not as described), reach out to the baker first. If you're unable to resolve the issue, you can contact Homebaked at support@homebakedapp.com and we'll assist you.
We may offer refunds at our discretion, but we do not guarantee them.
You may leave reviews or upload content through the platform. By doing so, you grant Homebaked a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content (e.g., review text, photos).
We may remove content that is abusive, discriminatory, irrelevant, or violates these Terms.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Homebaked is not liable for:
We provide the platform as-is without warranties of any kind.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know (via app notice, email, or both). Continued use of the platform means you accept the new Terms.
